Alexander McQueen - by Sarah Burton. a continuation of Lee's vision but softened by it's nurturing nature. stunning still with the craftsmanship, applaud!
Antonio Berardi - tailoring with sophistication. love the bright color footwear to go with the palette of white, black, grey, ballet slipper pink and red. simply romantic!
Brioni - Alessandro Dell'Acqua has moved the brand forward with positive development. classic basic stables with lots of tone-on-tone. brilliant mix of camel with red. love the extra large and long jacket draped on the shoulders.
Cacharel - beautiful tie-dye like prints inspired by paintings, good use of yellow for summer.
Céline - one of the most anticipated shows. loose fit tailoring with amazing color combination on beautiful fabric. I like the mix of burgundy leather with blue the best. the season we see Philo gets experimental with graphic prints. many coats and vests as the signature style of class. ready to see lots of copies of them on the highstreet.
Cerruti - by Richard Nicoll. structure deconstructed with jackets opening at the back and dresses opening in the middle of the front. different textures juxtaposed. Nicoll is making a conscious decision to elevate the functional heritage to another level. nude, black white, grey and black are the canvas.
Chloé - besides the go-to-work stables in absolute feminine forms, Chloé girls are literally dancing onto the stage in beige, off white leotards, pleated sheer skirts and ballet slippers. I love how summerly the collection looked and how confident women can be stepping out in real dance slippers.
Doo.Ri - it seems like most designers are under the spell of the pale, neutral colors started from last season and Chung is one of them. she is using the pastels as the only palette in her spring collection: ivory, beige, icy blue, buttercup.
Dsquared² - a collection with much range and diversity springing from menswear. one can still find sexiness in the preppy looks. large spectacles are the huge accessories.
Hussein Chalayan - details, details, details. the kind of master tailoring and technical proficiency that only the Chalayan's experience will not fail. mysterious and alluring, the appeal is more than just a fashion show.
Mary Katrantzou - the designer showed the most individuality. she went away to do her own thing. refreshing and pleasant to look at. who will miss the "lampshades" skirt?
Louis Vuitton - we are talking about the kind of over the top hollywood glamour and opulence here. I'm not usually into the dazzle and glitter but the old parisian vintage glamour won me over. waistline is lower and the silhouette is 20s.
Rodarte - the sisters are getting their inspiration from the woods or backyard? lots of brown and earthy tone. they never fail to surprise us season to season.
Stella McCartney - the McCartney woman has always been smart, sexy and strong. same silhouettes in mostly pastels mixed with some denim. recurring every spring is the summery prints, this year is the citrus. love it!
Topshop Unique - beautiful prints in sheer chiffon. the collection is romantic x boho punk. standing out from the crowd of prevailing minimalists, the more the merrier and the hair is BIG. love the energy of the ever young and fun label.
